June 28, 2026 - (Parade Album) - The Timpson Frontier Days parade had a strong attendance Saturday, June 27, 2026, and the opening ceremonies featured public officials from city to state levels.

June 23, 2026 - A hunter education class will be held at Excelsior ISD on August 1, 2026, from 8am until 3pm. The school is located at 11270 Highway 7 West and the class will be in the school gymnasium.

Class instructor will be Andy Stanley and the class is for ages 9 and up. A lunch will not be provided, please bring a sack lunch.

June 21, 2026 - U.S. Highway 96 South near CR 1012 was the scene of a single-vehicle crash involving a utility pole on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Emergency personnel with the Center Fire Department responded to the scene of the incident to aid those involved.
