August 14, 2024 (Application, Guidelines) - Planning is underway for the 48th East Texas Poultry Festival, presented by Farmers State Bank. The Poultry Festival will be held October 3-5th on the historic downtown Center square.

September 11, 2024 - The East Texas Poultry Festival Car and Motorcycle Show planned for Saturday, October 5, 2024 in Center, has a class for everyone and entertainment for all. Display your prized ride, or just enjoy the show.

Show hours are from 10am to 2pm on the north side of the downtown Center Square. Registration begins at 8am.

September 9, 2024 - Wellness Wednesday will be held on September 18 at 12 noon at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office. This month’s speaker will be Stacy Dicks with McWilliams Heating Plumbing, this month’s sponsor. Her presentation is “Finding Balance on the Road to Success: Are We Traveling Through Life on a Flat Tire?”

August 23, 2024 - The 48th Annual Poultry Festival Quilt Show, sponsored by Scull Timber is your opportunity to showcase your own quilting skills or grandmother’s heirloom quilt.

The theme this year is “Animals”.

Wall hangings/crafts/needlework are a part of the Creative Arts division, rather than the Quilt Show division.
