AnnLynn Nutrition Hosting New Chamber Member Ribbon Cutting

November 8, 2023 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors invite the public to join them at a New Member Ribbon Cutting for AnnLynn Nutrition on Friday, November 10th at 11:00am.

Brandy Adkison is excited about her new business venture. AnnLynn Nutrition is the perfect place to stop by to jump start your day with an energy tea, ice coffee or for a good healthy meal replacement shake. Needing an afternoon pick me up – a refreshing energy tea is a perfect option. Prolessa shots are also available.

Taste of the Holidays Tickets – Now on Sale

November 7, 2023 - Tickets are now on Sale for the Annual Taste of the Holidays, Sponsored by Shelby Savings Bank. The Taste of the Holidays will be Thursday, November 30th from 4:30-7:30pm at the Windham Civic Center. Tickets are $15.00 per person. Children 5 and under are free. Tickets may be purchased at the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce office located in the old jail next to the historic courthouse.

Come sample cuisine and wine from local restaurants and caterers and enjoy a fun festive evening. 

Chamber of Commerce Seeks Award Nominations

November 1, 2023 - The 101st Annual Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Celebration & Awards, presented by Farmers State Bank, will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024. We will celebrate and recognize the achievements of 2023 and welcome a new year.

The highlight of the Celebration is our Awards presentations the Farm Family of the Year award, Young Citizen of the Year award and the Distinguished Service Award.

11th Annual Taste of the Holidays Reservation Tickets Available Soon

October 30, 2023 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are hosting the 11th Annual Taste of the Holidays, presented by Shelby Savings Bank, an eclectic culinary sampling and dining experience, on Thursday, November 30th from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the John D. Windham Civic Center. Tickets will be on sale beginning Monday, November 6th and will be available to be purchased at the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce office or from any Chamber Ambassador.

Carriston Hendricks to Speak at the October Lunch and Learn

October 16, 2023 - October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, an annual campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer and fund research, treatments and a cure.

Carriston Hendricks, a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and owner of Priority Family Healthcare, will be the speaker for the October Lunch and Learn. The October Lunch and Learn will be Wednesday, October 25th at noon at the AgriLife Extension Office located at 266 Nacogdoches Street.
