Author Neal Murphy Releases "East Texas Serendipity"

New book explores answers to life's many questions from author’s perspective

November 17, 2015, SAN AUGUSTINE — For author Neal Murphy, East Texans like him tend to see things from a more relaxed perspective and they are more attentive to the details given by Mother Nature. In "East Texas Serendipity - Discovering Stories, History, and Tales from an East Texan’s Perspective," (published by Xlibris) he shares some of the humorous events that happened to him over the years while living in East Texas.

This book explores the answers to life’s many questions, such as the following: Who was Sam Hill? What is Adam's off ox? What is the difference between a redneck and a good ole boy? It is a fair-to-middling, rule-of-thumb, bird-in-the-hand explanation of the questions that one have always wanted to ask but never got around to.

"This hook is for those with a curious mind and a sense of humor," Murphy says. "It covers numerous topics with a humorous look at puzzling questions about life from my very own perspective."

Murphy hopes readers will become someone who finds things unsought while reading the stories contained in "East Texas Serendipity."
