April 5, 2017 - Help full fill the growing need for food boxes and join with Shelby County Outreach Ministries by donating each month the selected "Food of the Month." For the month of April, the highlighted food is dried beans, rice (in bag), and pasta!
Beans, rice, and pasta are economical foods which can be used to create filling dishes that are low in fat and packed with complex carbohydrates.
Bring your "Food of the Month" items to Shelby County Outreach Ministries located at 930 Shelbyville Street next to the railroad tracks at MLK Drive from 9am until 2pm weekdays.
Donations are always welcome of canned meats, peanut butter, and can vegetables. Monetary donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 1029, Center, Texas 75935.
Be part of helping to replenish supplies in their food pantry. Volunteers are welcome as well. Thank you and God Bless!
