But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” (Daniel 12:4 KJV)

We have entered the last days, and knowledge has increased at a pace we have never seen before. I believe the verse above is not only speaking of an increase in worldly knowledge; it is speaking of an increase in spiritual knowledge, as well. More of God’s Word is being revealed to the church in these last days, and that knowledge includes The Feasts of the Lord from the Old Testament.

From the gospel of John, we will see that Jesus used the times of the feasts to teach about the feasts. All the writers of the New Testament were Jews, and they had attended the feasts throughout their lives. When those men were born again, the Holy Spirit taught them the importance of the feasts, and they subtly included them in their writings.

As we learn more about these holy convocations God instituted, we will gain a better understanding of who we are in Christ because Jesus literally fulfilled the first four feasts during His earthly ministry. We can also better understand things to come because Jesus will literally fulfill the remaining three feasts when He returns.
