July 16, 2020 - Center Independent School District (CISD) was recently featured by Region 7 Education Service Center (ESC) on their social media as they assisted other schools in the Shelby County equipment in gathering Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
According to Region 7 ESC, schools in the region have been picking up PPE all week long.
Cody Fontaine, CISD Transportation Route Coordinator, and Marketta Edmond, Bus Driver, picked up the PPE for CISD and noted how much additional room they had for more equipment.
They reached out to other school districts in Shelby County and offered to pick up their PPE as well.
Region 7 ESC staff remarked, "Thank you for going above and beyond, Cody and Marketta!"
Region 7 ESC's main facility is located in Kilgore.
