December 9, 2016 - The Center Police Department is continuing with their Blue Santa Christmas Program collecting gifts for those children who might not have a chance of receiving a gift otherwise.
Shelby County Today dropped by the department on Tuesday, December 5, 2016 to deliver toys for the program, and police officers with the department received the toys to be delivered as gifts for those children.
Toy donations and monetary donations toward the purchase of toys will be accepted until December 20. Monetary donations and donations of toys can be delivered to the Center Police Department. Donations of toys can also be delivered to Shelby Savings Bank and Shelby County Today.
