April 15, 2019 - Sophomore Kristen Orsak's original play, 'The Void,' will be presented for a second night by CHS Theatre's 3rd period Advanced Players tonight (Monday) at 6:30.
Miss Orsak tells the story of Brooke, a teenager suffering from depression and her friends and family who aren't sure how to help her. The script has been workshopped by her peers since the fall and is ready for its "international premiere."
After the production, Karen Jones, a local pastor and counselor, will host a talk-back session so that audience members can learn more about a condition that has become such a major issue for modern school-aged Americans.
Admission is free, but seating is limited to 80 guests. The doors at Center High School Cafeteria will open at 5:45 for the 6:30 production.
