November 2, 2023 - I, Roy Cheatwood, want to announce that I would appreciate the voters of Precinct 3 Shelby County’s consideration to be re-elected for Constable. Since being elected into office, I believe that I have done what I promised. I'm grateful for the opportunity and support that y'all have shown since being first elected in 2016, and again in 2021. Elected by the people, to hold one of the highest office in Texas, is overwhelming. I believe the citizens want a Constable, not a police officer, Big Difference, I do however work my own cases most of the time.
My seven years in office, I've located 61 stolen vehicles, returning them back to the rightful owners. I have located hundreds of guns. I have a 95 percent rate on every case I worked. I have a good working relationship with every Department here, extending into Houston, Texas, and throughout Louisiana. I've been a working Constable, since the day I was elected. I encourage you to vote on Election Day. I've shown you what l'm capable of doing, others just talk.
