March 6, 2017 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the governing body of the above named City will be held on the 7th day of March 2017 at 5:30 pm. at the City Hall, 456 Jacob Street, Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:
1. Discuss and possibly take action: The Council will approve the financing of the Agenda Items 14, 15 and 16 from the February 21, 2017 meeting. These were for the repairs to the culvert on Holly Street for $7,500 (Duplichain), repairs with the extension of a culvert and filling in of the ditch at Pecan and Marcus Streets for $25,735 (Angelina Excavating) and for the repairs to the waterline on Timpson Street for $13,890 (Duplichain). These repairs total $47,125. The City of Timpson will borrow against the 2 CD’s at Texas State Bank (31415 and 31416) for these projects at 2% over the CD rate for 12 months.
2. Adjourn:
The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and is legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
