January 11, 2024 - Good Morning! It's Thursday, January 11.
There are moments in the life of every church that carry extra weight, extra importance. Landmark moments. Crossroad moments. First Baptist Church of Center, Texas has just such a moment coming this Sunday. After 15 months without a senior pastor, we will vote on prospective candidate Porter Brewer.
Porter, his wife Kayla, and their three daughters, will join us this Saturday at 4:00 for a Meet & Greet fellowship in our Family Life Center. Anyone, member or guest, is welcome. Then, Sunday at 10:15, he will preach during our worship service, and at the close of that service our church family will vote.
Thank you for remembering my church in your prayers this weekend. Pray that we will have a clear picture of God's vision for our future. Pray that we will be faithful to follow His leadership.
