David’s Daily Devotion for Mar. 18

March 18, 2024 - Good Morning! It's Monday, March 18.

Tomorrow is the first day of Spring!  It's also called the vernal equinox - "vernal", Latin for spring, and "equinox", meaning equal night. On this day every year, the hours of light equal the hours of darkness. It happens in September, too, but that equinox leads to a cold winter. The celebration tomorrow leads to warm summer sunshine! Are you ready for that?

And are you ready today to give God praise for His creation? A creation that we see all around us, as nature wakes up from its long winter's nap. And a creation that can occur within us, as well. These words are found in Ephesians 4:22-24.

You were taught, in regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self . . . to be made new in the attitude of your mind, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Thank God for His creation! Thank God for new beginnings! Thank God for spring!

Meet you back here tomorrow,

Bro. David
