April 29, 2022 - Good Morning! It’s Friday, April 29.
This Sunday morning, First Baptist Church of Center will have the opportunity to ordain a young man to the gospel ministry. Ordination services are always memorable and inspiring moments. In the moment before the ordination, my brother-in-law will share a very appropriate song - God Leads Us Along.
The inspiration for this song is Job 35:10 - "Where is God my maker, who gives me a song in the night?" We see this same thought in Psalm 42:8 - "By day the Lord directs His love, at night His song is with me." And in Acts 16 we find the Apostle Paul and his missionary partner, Silas, in prison. They are in chains, it is midnight . . . and they are singing!
Night comes to all of us, and so does His song.
