November 1, 2016 (More Photos) - Green Acres hosted a Halloween Carnival and invite the community to come out and enjoy carnival games for the kids, bounce slide, costume contest, food, and treats. Carnival activities included face painting, goblin hop (hopscotch), and paper airplane toss.
The following costumes won their age division:
Ages 0-3 years of age
1st place - Evelyn Lindley in a Minnie Mouse costume
2nd place - Cameron Moore in a Lion costume
3rd place - Jaylah Brinson in a mermaid costume
Ages 4-9 years of age
1st place - Logan Smith in a 'deviled-egg' costume
2nd place - Logan Williams in a 'jail bird' costume
3rd place - Christine Johnson in a blue butterfly costume
Ages 10 years of age and up
1st place - Wyatt McCollister in a hazmat costume
2nd place - Eulah Bates in a Queen Elizabeth costume
3rd place - Lawrence Dowrey in a Willie Nelson costume
