February 15, 2016 - The Center Police Department Ladies Auxiliary held a fundraiser for their scholarship program through a Valentines Day basket giveaway. The fundraiser was held until Saturday, February 13, 2016 in front of Brookshire Brothers in Center.
At 12:20pm the drawing was held and David Hailey, Brookshire Brothers Manager, drew the winning name from the box. District Judge Charles "Brick" Dickerson was the winner of the baskets with contents valued at over $250.
