Open Hearts for Brooklynn Fundraiser (Updated)

February 10, 2017 - Open Hearts for Brooklynn is a fundraising campaign for Brooklynn Swann, a Tenaha ISD student who was born with major heart complications diagnosed as Hypoplastic Left Syndrome (HLHS). She had her first major surgery at 9 days old, a second surgery at 3 months old, a third surgery at 2 years old, and a fourth at 4 years old.

Brooklyn is now 8 years old and is scheduled to have surgery in March.

Several fundraising events have been organized to assist with medical needs and will be held in the parking lot of Darrell's Bar B Que and the new location of Sweet Spot Candy Shop at the corner of Wheeler Street and Hurst Street.

A t-shirt drive ($10 and shirts available in blue or white) is going on now with orders due by February 25th to ensure shirts will be ready on March 3rd for the benefit. To place an order, click here.
