January 18, 2016 - The Piney Woods Photography Society (PWPS) held their monthly meeting Saturday, January 16, 2016. The January challenge featured "Open" subject with a very informative workshop presented by Janet Hughes.The Piney Woods Photographic Society is meant for camera enthusiasts of all skills and interests. Our goal is to help you become a better photographer and give you a place to meet others who share your passion for photography. We try to create programs and activities with information and instruction for all skill levels in an environment of support and cooperation.
The next regular meeting will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016, First United Methodist Church basement, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The meeting will consist of a workshop theme "Lightroom - Develop Module" with the February Challenge Theme being "Food". The PWPS would like to congratulate member JANET HUGHES on being accepted into the "Perspective Photography Exhibit" being displayed at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts.
