September 25, 2017 - Roughrider Academy Instructor, Virginia Fischer, found an opportunity to send relief to Florida for victims of Hurricane Irma with her husband Jimmy who was traveling to the state for a business conference. With the help of Center Middle School and CHS's Junior Chamber of Commerce and National Honor Society, Roughrider Academy was able to send cases of water, cleaning supplies, canned goods and other non perishable items to the Orange County Fire Department in Florida.
