October 8, 2016 - Album1, Album2, Album3, Album4 - Runners and walkers gathered on the downtown square to participate in the Poultry Festival 5K Fun Walk/Run Saturday morning, October 8th. The first male runner and runner in of the event was Antonio Chavez who is a member of the Center High School Cross Country Team. The first female to cross the finish line was Madison Brown of Carthage.
A large number of cross country runners participated in the 5K as well as a good many of the Walk Across Texas team members who are walking their way across Texas as part of the AgriLife Extension program.
The event as sponsored by the AgriLife Extension and 936 Crossfit.
