April 14, 2021 - St. Therese Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus made a donation of food and gift cards to Shelby County Outreach Ministries (SCOM) on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
Representing the organizations making the donations were John Jenkins, Grand Knight, and Tommy Hughes. Hughes said, "This on behalf of Father Nelson Muñoz, pastor with St. Therese Catholic Church, and the parishioners, and our Grand Knight from the Knights of Columbus (Council 10875 - Center, Hemphill, San Augustine) make this donation for the needy of Shelby County."
Sherry Harding, Executive Director of SCOM, gave appreciation for the donation, "Shelby County Outreach Ministries is blessed with a donation of canned food items and gift cards from the Knights of Columbus and St. Therese Catholic Church. We just thank them for their continuous support and compassion that they have shown us for many years. Their contributions help change our community.
