January 30, 2024 - Shelbyville cross-examination debate students competed in the 23AA district competition held at Elysian Fields High School on January 26. Payton McGee and Gaylon Harrison placed second, qualifying for the state competition held March 11-12 at The University of Texas in Austin.
Maddie Lout and Travis Caporali placed first and also qualified for the state competition. Additionally, Maddie Lout was awarded top speaker.
