March 8, 2021 - Kiouja Gates, Eli Taylor and Ty Merriman qualified for the State UIL Powerlifting meet. Taylor and Merriman will compete at the boy's State meet on March 25-26, 2021 in Abilene, TX. Gates will compete at the girl's State meet on March 17-18, 2021 in Corpus Christi, TX. We are Dragon proud! Good Luck at State. The powerlifting teams are coached by Michael Taylor and Joey Williams.
February 26, 2021 - The Dragons Powerlifting teams lead by Coach Michael Taylor had six boys and two girls advance to the Regional Powerlifting meet.

Boys Powerlifting Regional Qualifiers are Carlos Garret, Trey Cartwright, Grady Clay, Eli Taylor, Dawson Windham, and Ty Merriman. They will compete at the Regional Powerlifting Meet, March 4-5 at Malakoff High School.

Girls Powerlifting Regional Qualifiers are Kioija Gates and Laika Sanders and they will compete at the Regional Girls Powerlifting meet to be held March 5-6, 2021 at Rice High School.
