January 22, 2024 - I am Stevie Smith and honored to have been elected as your current Precinct 3 Commissioner of Shelby County. Over the past 3 years, we have made much progress. My crew has constantly worked to improve our roads, drainage, and bridges for a reliable road system for our school buses, postal workers, first responders, and citizens of Precinct 3.
My crew is an outstanding group who are hard-working, dedicated, and dependable. Our priority is always the safety of our children and citizens. We have also worked to address any issues promptly.
I have had the privilege of working with the other commissioners and our county judge in making sound decisions and policies for our county government.
The knowledge and experience I have gained from 40 years of running my businesses including owning and operating heavy equipment and trucks and repairing and maintaining oilfield roads has aided in the management and responsible spending within our budget.
I have enjoyed working for the people of Shelby County; if re-elected, we will continue to improve. I would appreciate the opportunity to continue working productively with my crew in Precinct 3. I would appreciate your consideration on March 5th.
