Stevie Smith for Shelby County Commissioner Pct 3 (Pd Adv)

June 16, 2020 - Citizens of Shelby County, my name is Stevie Smith, and I am a candidate in the run-off for Shelby County Commissioner, Precinct 3. I want to thank everyone for your support and votes from the general election back in March.

I have successfully ran businesses for forty years. That is forty years of working hands, planning jobs and seeing jobs through completion. More importantly, finding the most cost effective way to get the jobs done and stay within a budget. Forty years of making decisions for my businesses, not unlike some of the decisions that have to be made on the Commissioner’s Court, sound financial decisions, and decisions that will best serve the citizens of Shelby County and Precinct 3. If elected, I will be a strong voice for the people of our county. I have done all types of welding and fabricating and I own dump trucks and heavy equipment. I have employees and I also work with them, driving dump trucks, operating heavy equipment, and doing welding and fabrication. We haul gravel, repair roads in the oilfield, deal with drainage issues, work the ditches, put in culverts, and do any type of repairs needed on the location. We also work for the public, building house pads, driveways, ponds and clearing land. I will work hard and put all of my efforts into improving our roads and being the best commissioner that I can be.

I am asking for your support again for the run-off. Early voting starts June 29th through July 10 at the Community Center across from Mangum Funeral Home in Center. Election Day will be July 14th.

Thank you,
Stevie Smith
