Texas Tiddler Endurance Run May 20th

May 1, 2017 - In conjunction with Gov. Greg Abbott’s declaration of May as Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month, Area A of the Texas Motorcycle Roadriders Association is sponsoring an event to promote motorcycle safety and awareness. This event will be held May 20, 2017 at Boles Field. It is a family oriented event that will stress safe riding and navigational skills. The event will be a timed 200 mile course through a variety of roads that will include state highways, county roads and fire roads. The emphasis is not on speed but maintaining an average speed well below the speed limit while reaching check points on time as they travel through the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas.

We encourage residents of Shelby County to be aware of motorcycles on the road and especially on May 20, 2017.  A number of riders on small displacement motorcycles will be traveling well under the speed limit. This is the third annual running of the Texas Tiddlers. We have entrants from Austin, New Orleans, Shreveport, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and a pre-entry from Bettendorf, Iowa.

Area A would like to thank Steve Waters with Sabine State Bank, along with our regular sponsors, for their generous contributions that make this event possible.
