September 25, 2015 - City officials and members of the community in Timpson gathered on the city square Thursday, September 24, 2015 in recognition of first responders and police who sacrifice daily for those in need, and in many instances put their lives in danger.
Everyone present for the event gathered before the gazebo on the Timpson square and Kristie Branch Hairston, a long time volunteer and medical professional, welcomed everyone and introduced Larry Burns, who led the crowd in prayer.
Following the prayer, Mayor Debra Pate Smith thanked the congregation for being at the early morning event.
