February 4, 2015 - The Teens in the Driver Seat program has launched a pilot program entitled "Ride With Me". It is a parent education program that ties in with their peer to peer education program. Mrs. Danielle Smith's Family and Community Services class at Timpson High School held a pledge campaign Tuesday, February 3rd. Parents were asked to sign the pledge, take a driving safety quiz and watch an educational video. After completing all parts of the campaign, parents were given a thank you gift with materials to help them encourage their teen drivers to be safe behind the wheel. One of the most important parts of the campaign was to remind parents to set a good example for their teens.
