Tri-County Head Start Gets Visit from Emergency Personnel

September 14, 2016 - (Album) - Tri-County Head Start was visited by members of ACE EMS personnel and Center Police Department Wednesday, September 14, 2016.

Center Police Officer Steve Thornburgh shut down College Street where an ACE EMS ambulance parked so ambulance personnel could safely demonstrate for Head Start Students.

Representing ACE EMS were David Head, Tammie Jo Hinton, and Mary Head. They explained to the students what they do and how they help people. Students and a teacher also got to see what it was like to be on a stretcher.

Following the demonstration, the students were able to enter the ambulance and see what it was like inside.

Representing Tri-County Head start were Traci Morris, Director; and teachers, Deandra Jackson, LaTrisa Barkins, Pamela Cleaver, Kelly Watts, Sheretta Netherly, Clara Graves, Peggie Brown, Vanessa Latham, Kathy Smith, Rosa Rojas, and Ashley Lewis.
