July 22, 2016 - I am looking for a relative of WW II and Korean War Veteran Willie Edward Windham. Mr. Windham has been missing in action in Korea since August 12, 1950. With our upcoming program on Wednesday, July 27th commemorating the 63rd Anniversary of the Korean War Armistice will honor his service and sacrifice. The United States, the United Kingdom and other members of the United Nations moved to actively defend South Korea – an effort that would last until July 27, 1953, when negotiations concluded and fighting finally ended.

June 3, 2016 - On June 6, 1944, 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France. General Dwight D. Eisenhower called the operation a crusade in which “we will accept nothing less than full victory.” More than 5,000 Ships and 13,000 aircraft supported the D-Day invasion, and by day’s end on June 6, the Allies gained a foot- hold in Normandy.
