February 1, 2018 - Center High School order deadline is February 2, 2018. The cost is $45. The yearbook is 100 pages with 10 page supplement. Contact Sydney Brookshire in room 302 or sydney.brookshire@centerisd.org to order. Very few extras will be ordered. Receive a ticket for the Senior Signing Party with your yearbook purchase.
January 16, 2018 - (Update: 3:07pm) - Joaquin ISD will have a late school start on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Classes will begin at 9am. Buses will run approximately an hour later than usual.

December 19, 2017 - As we are making our list and checking it twice, start a new tradition this year and start or update an inventory of your personal property. Christmas time brings lots of shopping and an increase in burglaries and thefts.
December 19, 2017 - Colette Metcalf sent in the following poem Jack Mack, years ago, would play on KDET at Christmastime. The tape recording of the peom he played was recited by Abe Snake.
The poem and additional Jack Mack's writings can be read at the library or the Shelby County Museum in the book, "Hey, Jack Mack!"
December 18, 2017 - The University of Texas at Tyler held fall 2017 commencement ceremonies December 15 – 16 and among the degree candidates recognized were two Shelby County graduates - Maggie Elizabeth Bush, a Timpson ISD graduate and Meagan Leigh Nehring, a Center ISD graduate.
