Fillies Face Setback Against Lady Rangers

February 10, 2019 - The Fillies could not complete the sweep of the Kilgore Lady Rangers Saturday in District 14 play. The Lady Rangers defeated the Fillies, 56-73, dropping the Fillies to 8-4 in conference.

Leading the Fillies in scoring was Daryna Barcharova  with 18. She shot over 50% from the floor (7-13), and shot an impressive 4-7 from beyond the arch. Following her in scoring was Alicja Falkowska with 16 points on 6-7 shooting from the floor. Mikayla Etienne and Masha Adashchyk led the fillies on the boards with 7 apiece.  

Fillies Go 2-0 in Last 2 Contest

February 7, 2019 - Balance scoring and solid defense was in full effect for the Fillies in their 60-49 win against Blinn. The Fillies took care of business on the defense end in the second and third quarters, holding Blinn to just 18 combined points. Kellymar Ramirez, Jolie Williams and Masha Adashchyk each recorded 3 steals in the contest.

Panola College/Shelby College Center Offers Yoga Classes

February 5, 2019 - Panola College/Shelby College Center is offering Beginning to Intermediate Yoga classes. The Beginning class will meet Monday and Wednesday: February 18 – April 10, from 5:05pm - 6:05pm. 

The Beginning/Intermediate class will meet on Tuesday and Thursday: February 19 – April 11, from 4:25 – 5:25 pm and the Intermediate class will meet Tuesday and Thursday: February 19 – April 11, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. The cost of each class is $50 and pre-registration is required.  

Panola College/Shelby College Center Offering Zumba® Gold

February 4, 2019 - Panola College/Shelby College Center is offering Zumba ® Gold. This class takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the older participant. 

The class will meet Monday and Wednesday: February 18th – April 10th, from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Shelby College Center. The cost of the class is $50 and pre-registration is required.
