May 4, 2017 - The Shelby County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting May 16, 2017 at 2pm in the Shelby County Museum on Pecan Street.
Our speaker this month will be either Mr. Sam Wheeler or Mr. Mike Brister. He will speak to us about a program they have for the Center Athletic Department called Uncommon.
April 21, 2017 - The Shelby County Historical Society and Museum was honored to host Bill O’Neal, State Historian, for its March meeting. Mr. O’Neal presented the history of the Mission Alamo and the battle of Alamo with Mexican General Santa Anna.
November 5, 2015 - The Shelby County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Shelby County Museum on Pecan Street. The guest speaker this month will be Mr. David Swanzy. He will speak to us about the Elusive Historical Facts that enhance Shelby County traditional history. Everyone is invited to attend.
