Panola College Beats out Jacksonville

January 7, 2015 - Panola College beat Jacksonville College 63-59 on Wednesday night with the help of Charlynn Perry, who was the Fillies leading scorer with 16 points. Fillies locked in the win in the fourth quarter on a three-pointer from Perry.

Even though Jacksonville College outplayed the Fillies in the first half of the game, Panola College came back with excellent second half play. The Fillies had a late run scoring a game-high 23 points in the final quarter on the strength of a 18-3 run.

Jacksonville College Takes Win Over Panola College

November 25, 2015 - In spite of a strong performance from J'Lene Martinez on the offensive end with 12 points, Panola College lost to Jacksonville College 64-59.

Though Panola had a strong finish, putting up 19 points in the fourth quarter, it wasn't enough to make a comeback against Jacksonville.

Martinez got a rhythm and broke away to lead Panola College's offense with 12 points, with nine in the second half.

Fillies Lose to Coastal Bend College

November 23, 2015 - Despite R'Trevia Randolph contributing 16 points towards the offense,the Fillies lost to Coastal Bend College 65-62.

Fillies had a 25-point second quarter on a powerful 25-7 run, and by halftime gained a 39-22 lead. But this wasn't enough to top Coastal Bend College's 41 points in the second half.

Randolph had a game total of 63% (5-for-8) from the field while shooting 60% (3-for-5) from beyond the arc.

Fillies Beat Collin County College

November 16, 2015 - Panola College defeated Collin County College 90-88 in triple overtime on Friday.

 

Fillies fell behind early, trailing 36-33 by the half, only to come back strong in the final two quarters, with a game-high 21 points in the third quarter. After being up by 11 with just four and a half minutes left in the fourth quarter the fillies lost the lead and ended the quarter being tied 69-69 to end regulation. Panola College gained some momentum late in the game and was able to battle through three overtimes and come out with a win.

Fillies Beat Collin County College

Panola College defeated Collin County College 90-88 in triple overtime on Friday.

Fillies Top Cisco College

November 16, 2015 - Both teams went toe-to-toe on Saturday, with Panola College outlasting Cisco College 62-59. Charlynn Perry was strong from the field for Fillies, ending the game with 12 points. Also contributing for Panola College were Laura Chavez (10 points), Raemeisha Claxton & Amanda Cruz both had 8 points apiece, J'Lene Martinez & Genesis Riveria goes for 7 points apiece, Kia Fisker (6 points), Teanna Frances-Henderson (2 points), and Denasia Watson (2 points). Destiney Johnson was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up four rebounds.

Fillies Fall to Seminole State

November 7, 2015 - Although Laura Chavez put 32 points on the scoreboard, Panola College fell to Seminole State 73-72.

Fillies out shined Seminole State during the second half of the game, but it wasn't enough to reverse Seminole State's strong first half.

Chavez had the edge for Panola College's offense, scoring 32 points, including 15 during the third period.

Panola Fillies Fall to Jacksonville College

January 7, 2015 - The Panola Fillies fought hard in the second half after being down 38-32 in the first half but fell short overall 72-70 against Jacksonville College. After the second half started Coach Eddie Kite substituted the entire starting five for a fresh five. The Fillies started their run with R'Trevia "Archiee" Randolph's long two and Bianca Brown's 3 quick 3 pointers who was 3/3 from behind the arc.
