Center HS Soccer Playoffs Live Stream

March 25, 2025 - After their dramatic come-from-behind victory over Madisonville on Friday, the Center Roughriders travel to Palestine Tuesday night, March 25 to take on the Van Vandals in Round II of the UIL State Playoffs. Kick-off is scheduled for 6:30pm.

The Pregame Show featuring interviews with both coaches should start at 6:15. During the Halftime Show, visit with senior Roughrider Omar Barcenas and senior Lady Rider Gabriela Ordaz. Stay through the Postgame Show to visit with the Player of the Game.

Live Stream for the CHS Varsity Soccer Team Friday Night

March 20, 2025 - Friday night the Center Roughriders travel to Hudson to take on the Madisonville Mustangs in Round I of the UIL State Soccer Playoffs.

The Rider Game is the second scheduled playoff in Hudson that night; Kick-off is scheduled for 8:30pm or immediately following Game 1 (Henderson v Madisonville Ladies).

Center ISD Approves 4-Day School Week for 2025-2026

March 7, 2025 - Center ISD School Board voted to adopt a 4-day school week for the 2025-2026 school year during their March 6, 2025 regular meeting.

Center Independent School District Welcomes New Head Coach

March 6, 2025 - The Center ISD Administration, Board of Trustees and Athletics Director / Head Football Coach Interview Committee would like to extend a huge Roughrider Welcome to our new AD/HFC, Coach Nick Brown. Coach Brown is married to his wife of 15 years, Amber. They have a son, Camden (11), and daughters Graysen (8), Mattie (7) and Teagen (5). They also have a bonus daughter, Caroline, (25).

For the ladies, tonight's game will conclude their season. Their tip-off time is scheduled around 6:15 (or after the previous JV game). The Pregame Show will begin near 6:00 featuring a visit with head coach Kevin Smith and with one of the Lady Rider players. In their last match-up, Center fell to 6-3 Palestine by just 1 point.

January 31, 2025 - The Roughriders and Lady Riders continue district play tonight, January 31 as they play host to the Eagles and Lady Eagles of Rusk.

The ladies lead off with tip-off time around 6:15 (or after the previous JV game). Tonight will be their Senior Night. The Pregame Show will begin near 6:00 featuring coverage of Senior Night and a visit with head coach Kevin Smith. In their last match-up, Center fell to Rusk by just 3 points.

January 28, 2025 - The Roughriders and Lady Riders continue district play tonight, January 28, as they travel to Bullard to take on the Panthers and Lady Panthers.

The ladies lead off with tip-off time around 6:15 (or after the previous JV game). The Pregame Show will begin near 6:00 featuring a visit with head coach Kevin Smith. In their last match-up, Center beat Bullard in overtime. With only three games to go, the Ladies must win out to keep playoff hopes alive.
