May 13, 2025 - Center ISD is pleased to be hosting the Seamless Summer feeding program for the Summer of 2025. The dates are as follows:
F. L. Moffett Primary School will be open from May 19 through July 9 for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast will be served from 7:30am to 8:30am. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
May 8, 2025 - The Center High School football schedule for 2025 begins August 15 with a scrimmage against Pine Tree hosted at home. The full schedule is below.
May 2, 2025 - Tonight at 7pm, the Center Roughriders travel to Port Neches Grove for Game 2 against the Little Cypress-Mauriceville (LCM) Bears for the UIL Baseball Bi-District Championship. The Roughrider Broadcast Team will make the trip to provide the Livestream. The Pregame Show should begin at 6:45pm.
Last night, the Roughriders played host to the Bears in Game 1, losing 3-1. Because of wet conditions, Center's home game was moved to a 4:30 start at Panola's Reeves Field.
April 30, 2025 - Jared Cardova placed fourth in the Panola College welding contest on April 24 in Panola's new Matthews Foundation Energy Building. This year’s event drew participation from 11 schools and showcased the skills of 45 talented students.
April 28, 2025 - Tonight, in a special edition-Monday Night Baseball live from Hudson Texas, the Roughrider Broadcast Team will provide a livestream of the District Play-In Game: the winner moves to the playoffs; the losing team's season will end.
The Center Roughriders will face The Rusk Eagles tonight at 7pm. The Pregame Show will begin ten minutes before first pitch.
April 23, 2025 - Representatives from the JC3 Annual Jasper County Cowboy Church presented Kim Umbrell, Center Middle School Teacher, with a classroom award of $500 as part of their 10-year anniversary celebration of "A Day in the Dirt Handicapable Rodeo."
April 23, 2025 - F. L. Moffett Second Graders had another successful year hosting our Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Our goal was to raise $1,000 this year. With the community's help we raised $1,604. It was a great experience for our students to see the community come together to support them in reaching their goal.
