Tenaha ISD 2019-2020 Student Dress Code

August 19, 2019 - The campus dress code is established to teach grooming and hygiene, to prevent disruptions, and minimize safety hazards. Students and parents may determine a student's personal dress and grooming standards, provided that they comply with the followings:

Tenaha ISD Notification of Nondiscrimination in Career, Technology Programs

August 8, 2019 - Tenaha I.S.D. offers career and technology education programs in family consumer science, agriculture science, and business education. Admission to these programs is based on interest and aptitude. It is the policy of Tenaha I.S.D. not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, or handicap in its vocational programs, services or activities as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and § 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.

Tenaha ISD Announces Continuance of Free Meals to All Students

August 5, 2019 - The Tenaha ISD announced today it will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2019-2020 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
