FBC Men’s Ministry Fish Fry

May 20, 2024 - First Baptist Center's Men's Ministry is hosting a Fish Fry Tuesday, May 21, 5:30 at 717 CR 1140.

This location is a "man cave" just 5 minutes west of Center off of Highway 7. Every man in our community is warmly welcomed to this time of food and fellowship.

Senior Adult Community Trip to Lufkin Zoo

April 23, 2024 - First Baptist Center is sponsoring a Senior Adult Day Trip to the Lufkin Zoo next Monday, April 29. Any senior is warmly welcome. The group will leave First Baptist, 117 Cora, at 8am on the church bus and in private cars and will return at 2pm. The cost is $6 and that includes the zoo and the zoo train. Lufkin Zoo is very "Senior Friendly", is beautifully landscaped, and features an amazing array of animals. The group will have lunch at a BBQ restaurant before returning home. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at First Baptist Center

December 19, 2023 - The church family at First Baptist Church of Center invites you and yours to a brief, informal time of fellowship and worship at 5pm on Christmas Eve, December 24. The 45-minute service will include a children's story, a message from our pastor, many of your favorite carols, the observance of The Lord's Supper, and a candle lighting ceremony. First Baptist Center Honor Area Teachers Day/School Prayer Walks

August 8, 2023 - First Baptist Church of Center, 117 Cora, will have an Honor Our Teachers ceremony during their 10:15 worship service this Sunday, August 13.  Teachers, counselors, coaches, administrators, aides, bus drivers - anyone who makes their living in the field of education - is warmly invited.  The church has a special gift ready for each teacher and will lift them up in prayer on the eve of a new school year.  For more information call David Mathis @ 979-533-1575.

National Day of Prayer on the Square - May 4, Noon

May 3, 2023 - Tomorrow, Thursday, May 4, you're invited to the center of Center for the National Day of Prayer.
