September 8, 2015 - Huxley Helping Hands, a local mission group from the Huxley community, are holding a food pantry for the residents of Shelby County. It will be held the second Saturday of September 2015. Identification & proof of residency will be required. Only (1) box per household will be given.

August 24, 2015 - Shelbyville I.S.D. is pleased to announce that all Shelbyville I.S.D. retirees will be admitted free of charge to home athletic events for the 2015-16 school year by presenting a special pass. If you are a Shelbyville I.S.D. retiree and do not receive a pass by mail, please come by the administration office or call 598-2641.

August 18, 2015 - Hunter Education Course to be offered at Shelbyville High School Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 8:30am. It is a six hour class that is required for individuals born after September 2, 1971, to hunt independently. Cost of the class is $15 and a light lunch will be provided. August 13, 2015 - Shelbyville ISD will host their annual Meet the Dragons on Tuesday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m at Dragon Stadium.

July 13, 2015 - Please mark your calendars for Thursday, August 06, 2015. This is the date for FISH Camp (freshmen orientation.) All Shelbyville High School incoming freshmen and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend this orientation. The orientation will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the Shelbyville Cafetorium and should conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m.
