December 12, 2023 - San Augustine has gone all-out this season to LIGHT UP our downtown! The businesses and individual owners have created magnificent window decorations. In addition, through our “Adopt a Window for Christmas” program almost all the store fronts are dressed for the occasion. Civic groups, Churches, Care facilities, and individuals have all come together to create a Christmas Card for residents and visitors. Bring your family and friends. Come at night to enjoy the bright lights in the windows and on the courthouse square.
September 22, 2022 - All members, and anyone interested in learning about the exciting events to come at Mission Dolores State Historic Site, are encouraged to attend this year's Annual Meeting of the Friends of Mission Dolores (FOMD). The meeting will be at 12-noon, Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Mission site. Board members will provide a light lunch.
August 30, 2017 - The Deep East Texas Beekeepers Association will not meet Tuesday, September 5, due to the disruptions caused by Hurricane Harvey. We will meet again Tuesday October 3.
