October 2, 2025 - On October 1, nearly every Timpson high school sophomore signed the Panola Promise! The Panola Promise Program is an opportunity for students to earn free tuition & fees for up to 3 years at Panola College.

By completing 25 community service hours a year in high school and maintaining a 2.0 GPA, students are eligible for the Panola Promise Program following their high school graduation.

Timpson ISD is proud of these sophomores for signing the Panola Promise Pledge!

November 4, 2024 - The Timpson ISD Veterans Day Program will take place on Monday, November 11 at 10am. All veterans are welcome to attend and need to check in at the TISD Event Center by 9:40am if they would like to be recognized.

August 15, 2024 – The payouts for the Teacher Incentive Allotment designations have been received by qualifying TISD teachers! The teachers were recognized at the monthly Timpson ISD school board meeting on Tuesday, August 13.

When Timpson ISD’s Teacher Incentive Allotment designations were approved last spring, qualifying teachers became eligible to receive TEA pay stipends depending on their level of designation - Recognized, Exemplary, and Master.

May 6, 2024 - Timpson ISD is now accepting transfers for the 2024-2025 school year. Selection is based upon established criteria of the district and available space.
