Shelby County Commissioners' Court Special Meeting, Aug. 4th Agenda

July 29, 2021 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court will be held on the 4th day of August, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:

1 Approve and pay weekly expenses.

2. Approve current Payroll.

3. Public comments on Agenda item. 

County Clerk's Office Closes for Election, Answering Election Calls Only

November 2, 2020 - The Shelby County Clerk's Office will be closed Monday, November 2, and Tuesday, November 3, due to the General Election. We will be in the office to answer any elections questions you have. You may call us at 936-598-6361. However, we will not be open for any other business these two days.

Helpful Information For Ballots By Mail

August 20, 2020 - There is a lot of national coverage regarding how the USPS will not be able to handle the influx of ballots by mail this November. The state of Texas is not one of the states directly in question, and both our local and state agencies do not anticipate any issues. However, here are a few helpful hints for voters to ensure that ballots will make a timely return by Election Day.
