February 14, 2019 - Melba Williams, a long time neighbor and friend to Terry Bailey and his wife Pam, published a thank you letter to Terry Bailey in 2015 for an act of kindness he did when a local family was suffering the loss of a loved one who had passed away out of state. Tomorrow will be two years since Terry and Pam Bailey passed away and their acts of kindness and love for others are still remembered.

August 1, 2015 - Thank you to my beloved family and my beloved friends. I was thinking of Buck, my dear sweetheart husband. We lost him which will soon be a year ago. Today, I realized that even though I promised him I would let him go just as he asked me to do, well, "I can't" and that is alright for me today. I don't have to do that; I can't let him go.
April 24, 2015 - This is a story about pine trees and love. Where else could they grow so beautiful as in Shelby County, East Texas, in Center Texas.
These pines trees grow on the farm of Buck and Melba Williams in the yard.
Acreage was given to Melba from her dad to build a house. When Hwy 96 was built some 60 years ago, they lived in this house surround by pine trees (tall ones).
January 27, 2015 - Melba Williams, a long time Shelby County resident, came into the office of Shelby County Today and had a few short shorties she wanted to share with Shelby County Today readers.
