May 16, 2024 - The meeting is canceled for 5/16/2024 of the Shelby County Democrats, at 6 pm at Las Margaritas. Due to possible weather outbreaks and possible flooding.

May 14, 2024 - Democratic monthly meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2024. At Las Margartias at 6pm. Come out and meet other like-minded people to discuss the issues of Shelby County. Looking forward to seeing you there.

March 13, 2024 - The Shelby County/CD-1 Convention in Center, Texas will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 23rd at Las Margaritas at 110 Nacogdoches Street, Center!

January 16, 2024 - The monthly meeting for the Democrats for Thursday January 18, 2024, 6pm at Rancho Grande in Timpson is hereby canceled.

November 10, 2023 - General Candidate Filing for a place on the Primary Ballot starts November 11th, 2023 for County Chairs and others that are interested in running for office.

Precinct Chairs filings began on September 11th, 2023. Open filing period ends December 11th, 2023.

October 16, 2023 - Democrats monthly meeting will be October 19, at Las Margaritas restaurant, 5:30pm, eat if you like, pot lock. 

Meeting will start at 6pm.
