June 3, 2026 - The Shelby County Democratic Party will canvass the results of the May 26, 2026 Democratic Primary Election on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 10am until finished. This is a public meeting and all are welcome to attend and observe the canvass of the election results.

East Texas Whistle-Stop Tour with Democratic Candidates Today

May 25, 2026 - The East Texas Whistle-Stop Tour with Democratic Candidates is coming to Shelby County on Monday, May 25 around 4pm. The stop will be in the Ivan Smith parking lot area. Four candidates who are on the ballot are expected be there. Weather permitting.

Registration starts at 12 noon with convention call to order at 12:30pm.
