November 14, 2025 - The Shelby County Democratic monthly meeting is on November 20, at 5:30pm; you may have a meal if you like.

Meeting starts at 6pm at Las Margaritas, 110 Nacogdoches Street. We will be visited by Roxanne Lathan, Candidate for TX House District 11.

October 3, 2025 - September 9, 2025, is the first filing date for Shelby County, Texas, to file for a place on the 2026 Primary ballot as a Precinct Chair. The deadline is December 8, 2025.

Filing for County Chair of the Democratic Party of Shelby County starts on November 1, 2025. Deadline is December 8, 2025.

September 2, 2025 - Donuts with the Democratic Party – Join Us! Community, Coffee, and Conversation.

The Shelby County Democratic Party is kicking off a new monthly tradition: Donuts with the Democratic Party! Saturday, September 6 at 9am at Open Door Church – 900 Cotton Ford Road.

Come out, grab a hot cup of coffee, enjoy some fresh donuts, and connect with friends and neighbors. It’s a relaxed way to meet, chat, and be part of what’s happening in our community.
