November 13, 2018 – For the seventh consecutive reporting period, Nacogdoches Medical Center, the hospital anchor of NMC Health Network, has earned an “A” grade for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to hospital performance improvements in the areas of quality and safety.

December 8, 2017 – Nacogdoches Medical Center, the anchor of NMC Health Network, today announced that effective December 1, 2017, all patients covered under the Texas Children’s Health Plan, Star Kids, will have in-network access to the hospital.

May 19, 2017 – Nacogdoches Medical Center, the anchor of NMC Health Network, today announced that effective June 1, 2017, all patients covered under Humana’s commercial and Medicare health insurance, including members who are part of the Employer and Teacher Retirement Systems of Texas (TRS and ERS), will have in-network access to its hospital, physician clinics and hospital-affiliated outpatient centers.
