June 3, 2016 - Nacogdoches Medical Center, the anchor of NMC Health Network, today announced that it has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Chest Pain Certification. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects NMC’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care.
Established in 2002 and awarded for a two-year period, The Joint Commission’s Disease-Specific Care Certification evaluates clinical programs across the continuum of care and addresses three core areas:

June 2, 2016 - Each year, Nacogdoches Medical Center together with The Surgery Center of Nacogdoches, recognizes local graduating seniors with scholarships to support them in furthering their education.
This year, 5 scholarships were awarded to students from seven high schools in both Nacogdoches and Shelby Counties. Nacogdoches Medical Center congratulates these outstanding students, and are proud to support their continuing education.
