Library in Center Opens August 4th

July 31, 2020 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library in Center will open Tuesday, August 4th. Hours for now are Tuesday through Friday, 10am to 4pm. Enter through the back door and please wear a mask.

Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library Closed Due to COVID-19

July 15, 2020 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will be closed until July 30th due to one of the staff being exposed to the Coronavirus.

All books and movies checked out will not be due until August 1st.

Library Activity Bags Ready for Pickup

July 7, 2020 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library has summer learning activity bags ready to hand out. There are bags for Preschoolers and for ages 6-13 years. Our Summer Activities are sponsored by the Center Noon Lions Club.

The library is open Tuesday-Friday, 10am to 4pm. Enter the library through the back door. Please wear a mask. We look forward to seeing you!

Library Book Sale Continues Monday

October 26, 2019 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library Fall Book Sale will be open on Monday, October 28th, 10am to 5pm. Books will be a bag for $1. Come get a bag full, or two, and maybe find a new favorite author. This is for the book sale only.

The Library will not open until Tuesday for regular hours.

Library Fall Book Sale Has Great Start

October 22, 2019 - The Fall Book Sale at the Fannie Brown Booth Library got off to a great start this morning. Many books have already gone to a new home, but many more are still looking for one.

DRT to Present Genealogy Workshop at Library

September 17, 2019 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will again have a Genealogy workshop presented by the local chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at 1pm.

The basics of genealogy research will be covered first for newcomers. Then more in-depth information will be covered. Hints and tips for genealogy research will also be given.
