September 13, 2022 - Are you wondering about your ancestors? Who were they? What did they do? Genealogy research is a fascinating way to learn about your past.
On Tuesday, September 13th, at 1pm, the Fannie Brown Booth Library will host a genealogy workshop given by the members of the Wm. Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. All are welcome.
June 27, 2022 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will be having a JAWSOME adventure all this week. This is Shark Week of our Summer Reading/Discovery Program.
June 14, 2022 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will be closed Tuesday, June 14th, due to the air conditioner being out. We will open Wednesday, June 15th, if we can get the air working.
June 1, 2022 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will have the Summer Reading/Discovery Program Kickoff Day tomorrow, Thursday, June 2nd. Schedules and reading logs will be given out during regular library hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is for children ages 6-13.
There will be a special “Adopt-A-Fish” craft for the first 50 children.
May 26, 2022 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library announces its Summer Reading/Discovery Program beginning Thursday, June 2, 2022. The theme of this year’s summer programs is “Oceans of Possibilities!”
On Thursday, June 2, 2022, the library will be handing out Summer Reading packets all day.
There will be kids Crafternoons every Tuesday beginning June 7th with craft times for ages 6-8 at 2pm and ages 9-13 at 3:30pm.
April 29, 2022 - The Friends of the Library had a great first day of the Fannie Brown Booth Library Spring Book Sale. On Friday, everything will be half-price! Come find a favorite and only pay half as much.
March 29, 2022 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library is planning our annual spring book sale for April 28-30, 2022 (Thursday-Saturday). We are taking donations of books in good shape except encyclopedias and textbooks.
