Library Fall Book Sale Ends Saturday

October 28, 2022 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library Fall book sale ends Saturday, October 29 at 2pm. Books are a bag for $1. Find some new author to try during the cold weather to come.


Friday, October 28th, will be half-price day at the Fannie Brown Booth Library Fall Book Sale. Hardback books will be 50 cents and paperbacks will be 25 cents. We still have lots of great books.

Lineage Day to be Held at Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library

September 13, 2022 - Are you wondering about your ancestors?  Who were they?  What did they do? Genealogy research is a fascinating way to learn about your past.  

On Tuesday, September 13th, at 1pm, the Fannie Brown Booth Library will host a genealogy workshop given by the members of the Wm. Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.  All are welcome.

Library Adventure Includes Shark Week

June 27, 2022 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will be having a JAWSOME adventure all this week. This is Shark Week of our Summer Reading/Discovery Program.

Tuesday:

  • 2:00 pm - Crafternoons for Kids (ages 6-8 years)
  • 3:30 pm - Crafternoons for Kids (ages 9-13 years)

Wednesday:

  • 10:30 am - Preschool Story Time 
  • 2:00 pm - Crafternoons for Adults 

Thursday:

  • 10:30 am - Imagineers (ages 6-8 years)
  • 2:00 pm - Tweens (ages 9-13 years)

 

Library Summer Reading, Discovery Program Begins June 2nd

May 26, 2022 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library announces its Summer Reading/Discovery Program beginning Thursday, June 2, 2022. The theme of this year’s summer programs is “Oceans of Possibilities!”

On Thursday, June 2, 2022, the library will be handing out Summer Reading packets all day.

There will be kids Crafternoons every Tuesday beginning June 7th with craft times for ages 6-8 at 2pm and ages 9-13 at 3:30pm.
